Children's Residence
 |
Our desire is to provide a caring home environment for children with very challenging or multiple needs. The residence provides care on a permanent basis for three children. There are two additional spaces for children requiring short-term respite support.
The program, through its home and community environments, presents children with opportunities and the requisite supports required to learn daily-living skills in the following areas:
- Self-help
- Communication
- Socialization
- Recreation and leisure
|
A proactive approach is used in planning for each child's personal growth and transitions.
Basic Admission Criteria
- A primary diagnosis of developmental disability.
- The child must be between six to eighteen years of age.
- An application and complete medical are required. Residential staff and/or community resources can deal with medical management.
